Thank you for your interest in Brentsville Baseball League!

Please use the appropriate age-based registration section below to register your child for Fall 2019 baseball.

Our league is volunteer driven - please consider coaching your child's team. You can register as a coach (head or assistant) at the same time you register your child.

Please contact the Registrar at with any questions about or problems with the registration system.

Please be aware of our No Refund policy prior to registering your child.

As noted in the FAQ section of our website:

Can we get a refund?
The League policy is that there are no refunds except for middle school and high school students that tryout and make their school teams (Spring Seasons Only). The cancelation must be in writing to the registrar prior to April 1st.

If you want your child to play in a division above or below his league age:

1. Playing at the appropriate age level is HIGHLY encouraged unless there are critical concerns about your child's safety. Each level of play builds on the skills and preparation for the next level.

2. If you feel there is a safety concern, you MUST first register your child in a division that is his/her true league age. Subsequently, you will need to come back to the registration page and use the "Parent Request for Division Transfer" registration form to request the desired division.

3. Your child will be evaluated for proper skill level by the league's Player Agent on Player Evaluation day (before coaches Draft). Upon approval the registrar will make the appropriate adjustments in the system. If your child is not at player evaluations they will be required to play at the appropriate age level.

Fall 2019 New & Returning Coach/Assistant Application

Volunteer Coaches are the core of what makes our league successful. Whether you have coached before or not, please consider volunteering to coach your child's team. Having a sufficient number of coaches, we are able to keep team sizes manageable. Coaching is very rewarding experience and a way to make a significant, positive impact on the children in our community.
Follow the directions below to register as a volunteer coach.

Note: Your background check must be in process by draft day or you will not be able to draft a team. Problematic background checks will make you ineligible to coach.

***We have made the process seamless by automating the background check online. If you have one on file from last season it will bypass that step as you register this season.

BDYB Coaches Background Check
All coaches must provide the league with a Criminal History Background check and a National Sexual Offenders Registry check. When you begin this registration it will walk you through an automated background check which will cost about $23.00. You will be able to pay for the background check online with the service that we have chosen to do the Background checks.
PLEASE READ ***When going though registration process the first time you must come back to the BDYB website using the link provided on the background check webpage. The link will say "Return to BDYB website". Your registration will not show up to the administrators if you do not click this link. *****

Concussion Training (Optional)
Please Consider taking this FREE training. At this time it is free and optional. However it could be made Mandatory in the future as it is with the area schools. Click on the Title of Concussion training to get started.

Cal Ripken Coaching Certification (link)
All coaches and assistant coaches must complete the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Basic Certification course to coach at BDYB. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the suspension or removal of coach from the team. Click on the link above to complete the Cal Ripken Certification process. Please allow up to 3 hours to complete the Basic Certification course.
You may also consider taking the Advance Certification Course as it has tons of excellent content (see their page for details) and is required for coaches of the Spring Tournament teams. The Advanced Certification course may take up to 5 hours to complete.
The Cal Ripken Certifications are life-long certifications and only have to be taken once.
Once completed, email a copy of your certification(s) to
